Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and widely regarded as the most prestigious of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments. It is traditionally played over two weeks every summer. Wimbledon dates back to 1877 and is the only major still played on grass.

The Challenge

London corporate hospitality events provider SportsWorld asked us to deliver a highly personalised invitation pack for their guests attending Wimbledons Fairway Village. These guests arrived from all around the globe, including Australia, South Africa and Europe. We were given the opportunity to push creative boundaries and produce a high end solution worth of such a high profile event. SportWorld have been supplying official tennis hospitality packages for Fairway Village for over 25 years and required a special brand identity to mark this special anniversary.

The Solution

Working closely with SportsWorld, we created a high quality invitation box that was sent to all corporate and individual attendees. This included printed literature, booklets, directional guides, lanyard & cards and parking information. Follow up emails were also branded to keep all attendees up-to-date with latest news. We also created a special 25th Anniversary logo to celebrate this popular sporting event.

The Result

Feedback from SportsWorld was very positive. The invitation packs and event branding was also well received from corporate sponsors and information supplied added to a hassle free and entertaining event. The same pack design, layout and branding was also used for the next year of Wimbledon with an updated logo. This approach and forward thinking saved time and budget allowed us to deliver the next project faster.
